Scott Betts
President, Chief Executive Officer & Director
Scott Betts was named President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Global Cash Access, Inc. (GCA) in October 2007. Before joining the GCA executive team, he served as Executive Vice President and President of Domestic Enterprise Payments at First Data Corporation (FDC) for five years. Prior to his work with FDC, Mr. Betts led a distinguished 24-year career at Procter & Gamble (P&G), where he held a number of senior management positions in marketing, product management, and brand development. He later joined the company as an engineer and ultimately advanced to General Manager/Vice President of P&G’s Western Europe Tissue Towel division based in Geneva, Switzerland.
George Gresham
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
George Gresham joined GCA in February 2008 and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, where he is responsible for every aspect of the company’s financial activities. Prior to his work with GCA, Mr. Gresham most recently served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President of EFD eFunds Corporation. Before its acquisition, EFD eFunds was a multi-national NYSE listed company that specialized in the development and deployment of payments and payment related technology. During his tenure with EFD eFunds, Mr. Gresham was responsible for all facets of financial management including, financial controls and reporting, domestic and international taxation, financial planning, treasury, and investor relations.

Kathryn S. Lever
Executive Vice President & General Counsel
Kathryn S. Lever, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for GCA has a unique background in gaming law, commercial law, and corporate finance law, which positions her well for her pivotal role at GCA. Prior to joining GCA’s executive team in September 2005, Ms. Lever was a partner at the reputable Schreck Brignone law firm in Las Vegas, Nevada. Before her work with Schreck Brignone, she was an associate in the litigation department of the Vancouver office of McCarthy Tetrault, Barristers & Solicitors, and then went on to become an associate at Catalyst Corporate Finance Lawyers in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ms. Lever earned her law degree from the University of Windsor and also attended the University of British Columbia and the Mountview Theater School in London. Ms. Lever is currently a member of the State Bar of Nevada and The Law Society of British Columbia.
Kurt Sullivan
Executive Vice President, Check Services & Central Credit
Kurt Sullivan joined GCA in December 2000 and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Check Services and Central Credit. He is responsible for directing the development and deployment of GCA’s QuikCash Plus Web and Automated Cashier Machine (ACM) products, as well as QuikCredit and the Central Credit Check Warranty service. Prior to joining GCA, Mr. Sullivan gained 22 years of experience in the gaming industry, twenty of which he spent with Circus Circus Enterprises, Inc. During this time, he served on the board of directors and held several management positions including, Senior Vice President of Operations and General Manager. Mr. Sullivan also gained valuable insight while working for the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and Park Place Entertainment Corporation.
Mari Ellis
Executive Vice President, Development & Technology
Mari Ellis was named Executive Vice President of Development and Technology for GCA in March 2008. Before joining GCA, Ms. Ellis held a variety of senior management positions at First Data Corporation, the world’s leading credit and debit card transaction processor. Most recently she was Chief Operations Officer for First Data’s Prepaid Services, and prior to that she served as Senior Vice President for their Business Integration Office, where she was responsible for large acquisition integrations and other scale enterprise initiatives. Ms. Ellis was also the Senior Executive responsible for Business Architecture at First Data Resources where she lead all technical and business aspects of a multi-million dollar project to transform the data processing systems. Previously, Ms. Ellis was a pioneer of Stored Value products and technology with American Express as well as an executive for Diners Club Business Development with Citigroup.
Steve Lazarus
Executive Vice President, Domestic Sales
Steve Lazarus joined GCA in 1997 and is currently Executive Vice President of Domestic Sales. For over a decade, Mr. Lazarus has served in a sales capacity for GCA. Prior to his current title he held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales where he handled corporate accounts representing approximately half of the company’s gross revenue. Before joining GCA’s executive team, Mr. Lazarus was Casino Accounting Supervisor and Slot Systems Specialist at Harrah’s Entertainment and Software Support Specialist for Bally Systems.
Scott Dowty
Executive Vice President, Business Development
Scott Dowty joined GCA in November 2005. Previously, Mr. Dowty worked with First Data Corporation (FDC) as General Manager and Vice President of First Data International in Toronto, Canada, where he managed several merchant service alliances, ISO, VAR and card issuing programs between 2000 and 2005. Mr. Dowty also served as Director of New Business Development in North America for CIBC Merchant Services (now Global Payments Canada), located in Toronto, Canada, from 1996 to 2000.
