Moody's Upgrades Global Cash Access Debt
LAS VEGAS, Jan 23, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Global Cash Access Inc. (NYSE:GCA) ("GCA" or the "company") today announced that Moody's Investors Service has upgraded GCA's corporate family rating to B1 from B2, senior secured bank credit facility rating to Ba3 from B2, and senior subordinated debt rating to B3 from Caa1. The upgrade concludes a review for possible upgrade initiated on Oct. 6, 2005. Among other factors, Moody's stated that the ratings upgrade reflects the company's significant reduction in financial leverage since the initial rating assignment in February 2004. The upgrade also reflects the company's leading market share, earnings predictability from exclusive, multiyear client contracts, and conservative acquisition appetite.
