Spotlight on Native American Gaming

The GCA Native American Gaming Division has been hard at work over the past few months securing contracts with five Native American gaming properties. GCA recently agreed to terms with FireLake Grand Casino, Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino and three Leech Lake Gaming properties.

FireLake Grand Casino, in Shawnee, Okla., will use QuickJack Plus, a multi-function, self-serve kiosk that provides patrons easy and convenient access to exchange slot vouchers for cash and perform other related cash services in one stop. Because of operational cost reductions, casinos like FireLake Grand can place up to three times the number of ATMs they currently have, resulting in shorter cash lines patrons will really appreciate.

Leech Lake Gaming also will use QuickJack Plus along with GCA’s check cashing services in each of their three casinos in Northern Minnesota - Palace Casino Hotel, Northern Lights Casino and White Oak Casino.

“Staice June was such a wonderful person to work with. She was very attentive to our needs and knowledgeable about GCA’s products and services,” said George Goggleye, chairman of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. “We are very excited to begin using GCA’s check cashing services and QuickJack Plus in our casinos. After crunching the numbers, we estimate that GCA’s services will give us a 30% increase in revenues on our casino floor.”

Osage Million Dollar Casino is part of the Osage Nation Enterprise, which operates four casinos in Oklahoma. Osage recently added ticket redemption kiosks to their casinos in addition to the GCA products already in use.

Global Cash Access continues to support Native American gaming by attending numerous Native American gaming conferences throughout the year. The GCA Native American Gaming Division recently attended the 12th Annual Western Indian Gaming Conference, Jan. 16-19 in Temecula, Calif.

GCA also is looking forward to attending the 10th Annual Southwestern Indian Gaming Conference and Expo on Feb. 20-22 in Albuquerque, N.M. and the National Indian Gaming Association Trade Show and Convention on March 25-28 in Phoenix.
